Bridget is a full stack web developer leveraging a music education background to build a more inviting and accessible user experience on the web. They recently earned a certificate in full stack development from the University of Central Florida, with newly developed skills in JavaScript, CSS, React.js, and responsive web design.

With previous experience as an educator, Bridget is ready to bring problem solving skills and a creative mindset to developing web applications. Their most recent project was a volunteer search application, Assist. On a team with another developer, they created an application that allows users to search for, save, and create volunteer opportunities. This app uses React.js, JavaScript, MongoDB, MDBootstrap, and Charity Navigator API. Bridget is looking forward to using their skills as part of a socially-conscious, quality-driven team to build better web experiences for all users.

The Peckish application helps users search for and discover new and exciting food and drink recipes without having to purchase a cookbook. This app uses HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, UiKit, and TheMealDB and TheCocktailDB APIs.

The Burger Place is an application created using MySQL, Node, Express, Handlebars and an ORM. The MVC design pattern is utilized. Node and MySQL query and route the data in the application while Handlebars generates the HTML.

fitness tracker

Fitness Tracker creates and tracks daily workouts. Users can log multiple exercises in a workout on a given day, track the name, type, weight, sets, reps, and duration of exercise. If the exercise is a cardio exercise, users can track distance traveled. This app uses MongoDB, Mongoose, Express, NoSQL, and JavaScript.

In this day and age, it can be difficult to find time to take a breather. Relax, a breathing application, allows you to reorient yourself, calmly and discreetly, with a visual director to tell you when to breathe in, hold, and breathe out. This app uses HTML, CSS, keyframes and animations, and JavaScript.
